Tenía esta entrada pendiente hace tiempo, pero no encontraba como finalizarla. Los textos por lo general deberian estar bien formado, tener una introducción, un desarrollo y una tesis final, o eso me enseñaron en secundaria, este texto carece de estructura, simplemente son unos comentarios sobre partes del texto que me han parecido interesantes.

Hemos rescatado esta pequeña joya en el club de lectura de Los Llanos de Aridane con motivo del día del libro.
La obra es un crudo retrato de la españa de la postguerra. En ella, una familia, Paco, Régula y sus hijos, vive al servicio de unos marqueses, el señorito Iván y demás, por los cuales son tratados como meros animales a los caprichos de los señores. Lo mejor de la obra es la simpleza con la que Delibes retrata esta España pero con una crudeza increíble, imágenes vivas de lo que intenta transmitir. Azarías, por ejemplo, un pobre ignorante que lleva toda la vida trabajando para un noble es echado sin más miramientos después de años de servicios, sus actos son como los de un animal, caga en cualquier sitio, y mea las manos, pero esto no quita que sienta amor. Paco, el fiel servidor del señorito Iván, es tratado de la misma forma, su magnífico olfato lo animaliza, y su sumisión a su señor lo convierte en un perro.
Pero el trato inhumano no sólo se consiente, sino que además la burguesía se vanagloria de su buen trato a sus empleados, cómica es la escena en la que los marqueses se muestran orgullosos de que Paco y Régula puedan escribir su nombre delante del embajador francés.
En la obra, para más inri, no es el trabajo la muestra de los bochornos que les hacen pasar los señores, sino sus frívolos caprichos como son la caza, que lleva a Paco, uno de los sirvientes, a romperse una pierna. Su señor, Iván, lo lleva al doctor, que se asemeja más a un veterinario en el trato que da a Paco, mientras Iván no puede esperar a la recuperación de Paco por una importante cacería.
Obra más que recomendable.
